Being the nostalgic girl that I am, I can't help but fall in love with a lot of the retro-inspired swimwear
that's out there this season. I've seen a lot of cute one-piece suits that have a little bit of a 1950's pin-up vibe. I think a lot of those one-pieces look so feminine and really help you show off your curves. I've also come across a style of bikini that I didn't think would catch on, but it has. The high-waisted retro bikini. I've seen them popping up all over the place. They make me think of 1960's Bond girls. I tried to compile a few of my favorites that are just as adorable as they are wallet friendly (compared to a lot of them that are nearing the $200 price range). I'm still not sure which one (or two) I'm going to end up with, but I've still got a bit of time left to decide. We're going to be spending a week at our cabin near a lake in northern Wisconsin in late July and you can bet we'll be in our swimwear the entire time.
OH! I love all of your pics!

DeleteI am so in love with the retro swimwear. I actually have a swimsuit that looks like number 3 that I've had for years, but never traded it in for a new one because I loved the style so much. But now it looks like I've got a lot more choices!
ReplyDeleteYou've got a lot more choices now! I actually broke down and ordered #3 in a pretty medium bright blue with white polka dots. It was the last one in my size so it was kind of a must :) thanks for dropping by!
DeleteThese are cute!
ReplyDeleteI lucked out and got one that looked like number 2 at TJ Maxx last summer, but in polka dots!
Love these!! So cute!
